Sunset - The Last Stand

I stand among you all for the last time
Longingly do I gaze at what I must leave behind
Searchingly I do wonder what we have created
in this realm of the new.

I stand at the brink of the Earth
Gazing back at the times we shared
Hoping for eternity of peace and prosperity
from the blessings of Him.

Let no more petty quarrels plague us
Let no more frilly, selfish wants hinder us
Let us live like decent creatures we claim to be.

I stand for the last time
Giving my share of blessings and hopes
Sending you my last message
in hopes that humanity may one day learn.
